Salt crystals...a good idea to begin with...

I really like Bonobo- Circus, even though, the visuals for this video are really really cool and creative, when I heard this song, all the metallic kind of sterile sounds made me visualize like a science lab or something like that? With footage of petri dishes and test tubes, different colour dyes and bacteria growing in time lapses. So I remembered when I was at school, we grew salt crystals, but my memory could remember how long they took to grow. So I did some research online and some said they grew overnight and I thought FANTASTIC, I can do a really cool time lapse for the video.........2 weeks later...they have grown to a decent size.... ahh well, I tried, here is the photographic evidence
